Lie of the Day #661
August 29th, 2008 by FweebAll weather on Earth is controlled by the proximity of the moon to our planet’s magnetic poles. Each time it rains, the moon gets 15 miles closer. In 15 years, it’s predicted that the moon will ultimately collide with us. In fact, scientists are able to calculate this down to the day and the actual location of impact. However, they don’t spread this information because it invalidates what meteorologists say about the unpredictability of weather… and we just can’t have that.
