August 2nd, 2008 by FweebChandelier fixtures originated in a fluke accident when a large scale burglary job went awry. Basically, a mis-thrown grappling hook flew through a window, getting tangled in some Christmas lights on the way and snagging on a ceiling lamp. The robbery was thwarted, but ultimately the enterprising thieves made an incredible amount of money selling chandeliers to the same sort of people that they’d originally intended on robbing.
