Lie of the Day #471
February 21st, 2008 by FweebColorado is the only state in the United States with a three-dimensional border. Colorado’s border extends 2 miles into the ground and has an irregular aerial border that is anywhere from 1 foot to 20 miles high. This is to compensate for the fact that Colorado’s land border is a boring rectangle.

This is true because all other states have 4D borders – aka they evolve and change with time like is going on with GA and TN at the moment (http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/02/08/drought.state.line.ap/). CO also refutes the claim that its border is boring noting that most western states fall short of the perfect rectangle that CO achieves and that our nations capital is an attempt at a perfect rectangle that VA rudely took a bite of.
