January 8th, 2008 by FweebAll venetian blinds have a sensor built into them that detects whether or not you raise them too fast or too far. In cases where blinds are opened too quickly or too much, this sensor sends an electronic beacon to an underground lab in Wisconsin. Upon receiving this signal, the machines in the lab increments a counter. When this counter reaches 10, the world will be destroyed. So far, society has done well and we are currently only at 6 on what is now commonly referred to as the Venetian Doom Counter.
