July 1st, 2007 by FweebThe acids in the stomach of the humpback whale are the most corrosive and unstable substances known to man. It used to be believed that these massive creatures lived off of nutrients garnered by eating incredible amounts of plankton. Recently, scientists discovered that this wasn’t the case. What, in fact, was happening was that whales actually digest all of their internal organs in a 3 month cycle. They actually eat and enslave the plankton to assist in regenerating those lost organs for them.
