Not as bad as I expected it to be; not as good as it could’ve been. It was particularly disorienting to hear Ewan McGregor with an American accent. Acting was strong. This is what a movie around a series of stupid human trick should be. It’s dumb, but I laughed. And no, you don’t have to see the first one to understand the sequel.
This is what a martial arts movie should be. Minimal, but meaningful, fights… strong acting… and a good idea about what martial arts is really about. Good for the watching.
