Better than I expected, but there definitely things that were not in this movie that I would’ve like to have seen (original Doom helmet, more on the “portal to Hell” storyline). Monsters were very well done. Story… like I said, could’ve used more from the actual game storyline, but it wasn’t horrible. Acting; not terrible… [...]
Worse than the first Transporter. Fast forward to the fight scenes and just watch those.
If you enjoyed any of the Wallace and Gromit short films, you’ll probably like this one, too. Strong on skill and heavy on wit and filmic allusions. The humor can play a little flat for folks who aren’t into the dry stuff, but I liked it.
Surprisingly good. I wasn’t familiar with the Firefly series prior to watching this (other than knowing that it’d existed at some point). Very competent acting, despite a few cheeseball moments. The story is what really works for this one. Incredibly tooled together. See this if you have a chance.
