Madagascar

Very accomplished animation (ocean could’ve used a bit of work, though). Good story and quite entertaining. A couple pop culture references that work well whether you get them or not.
I’d place this one above A Shark’s Tale, but below Robots. I believe that puts it in a position just above Shrek 2.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike the book. It was enjoyable. The Guide narration, commentary, and animation were the best parts of the movie. And I’m happy that my favorite part of the entire series (the inner monologue of the falling sperm whale) made it quite nicely into the movie. Go see it.
